A guide to collecting, delivery, care, and beginning a commission.
Policy wording is a draft for review. Shipping, returns, and payment terms must be confirmed before the shop opens.
Collecting the work
How can I tell whether a work is available?
Every artwork listing shows its availability. Available originals can be added to your cart; sold originals remain in the portfolio as part of the body of work.
What is the difference between an original and a print?
An original is the physical artwork made by the artist. A print is a reproduction. The listing should identify the type, size, materials and, where relevant, edition details.
Can I see more photographs of a piece?
Yes. Each product page has space for a full view and additional detail photographs. If you need another view before deciding, use the contact page and include the title of the work.
Will the colours look exactly the same in person?
Screens and lighting can affect colour. Review the full view and detail photographs, and ask for additional images if a particular colour or surface quality is important to you.
Delivery & care
Where do you ship, and what does delivery cost?
Shipping destinations and charges will be listed with the live shop’s delivery options before launch. For a destination or size that needs a special arrangement, contact the artist before ordering.
How will the artwork be packed?
Packaging depends on the material, size and whether the work is framed. Final packing and dispatch details will be confirmed on the listing or with your order.
Is the artwork framed or ready to hang?
Check the individual listing for what is included. Framing and hanging hardware are not assumed; the product description should state them explicitly.
How should I care for the work?
Care depends on the medium and surface. Follow the instructions supplied with the artwork and contact the artist before applying cleaners or making changes to the surface.
Commissions
How do I enquire about a commission?
Open the commission inquiry form. Its subject is already set to Custom Art Commissions. Share your idea, approximate size, intended space, timing and budget if you know them.
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
No. A feeling, a story or a starting point is enough for an initial conversation. The artist will discuss whether the idea is a good fit for the practice.
Does an inquiry commit me to buying?
No. Scope, price, timing and terms should be agreed before work begins. An inquiry starts the conversation.
Orders & questions
Does placing a piece in my cart reserve it?
No. A cart is not a confirmed purchase. For an original, availability is checked again when your order is processed.
What if I have a question about my order?
Contact the artist with your order number and the title of the work. Do not include full payment-card details in a message.
Where can I find the return and damage policy?
The final return, cancellation and transit-damage terms will be provided before the shop launches. Please review those terms before purchasing.
